Outdoor
Explorations, Golf for Adults 50+, was founded by Angela Kelly on
September of 1994. Since its inception, Angela has taken the program
from four members to over three hundred members
ranging in age from 50 years young. Angela's dream was to offer
recreational golf outings to older players at a nominal fee. With the
support from several golf courses, private business, individuals, and
subsidized programs through the City of Lake Forest, her dream has
become a reality. Each
week through Outdoor Explorations approximately 100 to 140 members are
out having affordable golfing at a variety of Orange County golf
courses.
Angela Kelly is a member of the LPGA in the Teaching and Club Professional Division. Angela has passed a comprehensive battery of LPGA proficiency tests with flying colors. She was awarded LPGA Class A Member status C. Because Angela loves to learn more about golf and seniors, she attends classes, LPGA workshops and other seminars.

Angela
loves teaching golf, especially to adults 50+. With her education in
Gerontology and her natural ability to communicate with older adults,
makes learning the game of golf fun and easy.
WE LOVE BEGINNERS
Outdoor Explorations schedules nine and eighteen holes of golf at various courses in Orange County. There are green-side lessons and free range balls before the rounds of golf at Lake Forest and Brea Creek. Lessons are available and prizes awarded on special occasions. Social events and free quarterly clinics are scheduled throughout the year. As an "extra bonus", Angela offers on-course instruction by appointment only.
